Sechelt Chief - 2011-05-23 |
The converted tug Sechelt Chief - she was built in 1938 by Westcoast Salvage, in Vancouver, as the Joan I. She became the Robin Ann, then the Sechelt Chief, before being converted to a pleasure craft named Clive some time in the early '90's. Her latest owners went back a step and re-named her the Sechelt Chief. A very nice looking old wooden ex-tug that I like so much I'm showing a whole series of pictures of her entering the South Harbour.
Length: 14.94m Breadth: 4.63m Draft: 2.26m Power: 340 BHP Year Built: 1938
